Tefal’s latest air fryer is aimed at tackling one of the most common complaints in the category, noise, with the launch of its Easy Fry Silence Essential Air Fryer.
The appliance is positioned as one of the quietest options currently available, using the company’s proprietary Silent Technology to reduce operating sound while maintaining cooking performance. The feature is designed to deliver a more relaxed kitchen experience, particularly in open-plan homes where appliance noise can be more noticeable.
Despite the focus on quieter operation, the Easy Fry Silence retains the core benefits of air frying. It uses high-speed air circulation to produce crisp results with little to no oil, supported by an Extra Crisp function designed to improve texture and browning.
The model includes 10 preset cooking programs, allowing users to prepare a range of meals without manually adjusting settings. A touchscreen interface provides access to these modes, reflecting a broader shift towards simpler and more intuitive appliance controls.

Tefal says the unit also offers efficiency gains compared with traditional ovens, using up to 70 per cent less energy while reducing cooking times by up to half. These improvements are likely to appeal to households looking to cut both energy use and time spent in the kitchen.
Air fryers have become one of the fastest-growing small appliance categories in recent years, and manufacturers are increasingly focusing on differentiation through features such as multi-function cooking, larger capacities and improved usability. With the Easy Fry Silence, Tefal is placing a stronger emphasis on reducing noise while maintaining speed and performance.
The release highlights how the category is evolving beyond basic functionality, with brands now targeting everyday convenience and comfort alongside cooking results.
